volunteer instructions
**Due to Covid 19, all volunteer work shifts have been suspended.
Sweet Pea CSA is an all-volunteer organization; all members are expected to donate their time at distributions to ensure that the CSA can operate smoothly. A site manager is on hand each week to train volunteers and help with set up and clean up. Volunteering is a great way to meet other CSA members and learn more about the CSA.
Each CSA member is asked to volunteer for 2 shifts during the season. Please read the following information carefully.

important!
Changing your shift:
It is important that all CSA members make every effort to make the shifts for which they signed up; however, we understand that things come up and you may need to change your shift. Please use your best judgment when changing your shift, as the CSA relies on all volunteers to ensure pick-up runs smoothly, and try to avoid last-minute changes, as it can be extremely difficult to secure a new volunteer on short notice.
If you cannot make your shift, please first try to secure a replacement - friend, family member, or a fellow CSA member. If you are unsuccessful, please email the team. Together we'll find a replacement for your shift and find you a new shift.
If you are running late for your shift:
Please contact the core team (sweetpeacsa@gmail.com), who will put you in touch with the Site Manager on duty.
